How do countries choose whether to cooperate with one another? Why has it been difficult to find consensus on global health and environmental issues? In our globally interdependent world – and especially within the European Union – understanding events at home means understanding what is happening in the world. If you are interested in issues such as these, the English-taught International Relations and International Organisation (IRIO) programme might be right for you!

Is this the programme for you?

You need to have a broad interest in international news and the different perspectives on international issues, as well as a critical personality – you ask questions until you have all the answers. In addition, independence and flexibility are useful assets in the IRIO programme as well as in the international job market.
