Bachelor programme: truly international

As a critical and articulate citizen, you can help build the Europe of the 21st century. But you can only succeed at that if you understand the languages and cultures that have shaped Europe. In the English-language Bachelor of Applied Linguistics programme, you will become a multilingual language specialist. You will learn about two languages in all their facets, including their cultural context. You will discover how language functions and inspires, and how you can use it to communicate in a thoughtful and strategic manner.

This international programme in cosmopolitan Brussels offers you more than simply learning about the fascinating diversity of European languages, cultures and visions: you will experience them every day, on the streets and on campus.

Your profile:

• Languages are your passion.
• You want to explore the linguistic and cultural wealth of Europe to its fullest and work actively with languages.
• You see yourself taking on a role as a multilingual language specialist in an international or multilingual organisation or institution.
• You will follow the programme in English: we expect a starting level of B2 (final level of secondary education). For the other languages, you can start from scratch.
