RBL was one of the main selling points for me. I liked the idea of spending a day per week in the labs as well as working on a month-long project each semester, having a valuable hands-on experience. Because of the early immersion into the lab environment (from the very first week), we gain the ability to operate the machines, have the technical skill to build different experimental set-ups and know how to manipulate various chemicals, which is priceless for those of us who want to continue into research.
