SOCIAL SCIENCE MAJOR IN HUMAN GEOGRAPHY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE

Keeping up with the workload at UCR can be stressful sometimes. Luckily, we can distract ourselves with different social activities! For example, I have been going to football practice where I have met some of my dearest friends and had an amazing time! We play twice a week. The best thing is that you do not have to be a pro-player, we are there for the fun. It has been really nice to do some physical activity, disconnect from studies and spend time with friends. I have also been able to develop my interest in photography by joining the photography society (LENSE). I have been the chair of LENSE for a semester now and I have learned so much about organizing events, leading meetings, and photography itself. The best thing about being in LENSE is that we join other societies’ activities to take pictures. This allows us to enjoy many different events during the semester. I’m looking forward to collecting many more memories during the orientation of new students by taking pictures and videos of their experiences.
